A Man Who Has Not Bath in 37 YEARS!! YikeS!

Kailash Singh has not bathed or cut his 3m-long dreadlocks since 1974

It is not an achievement that can readily be savoured by his nearest and dearest. But Kailash Singh has as good a claim as any to the accolade of world's smelliest man - after refusing to wash for more than 37 years. Kailash, 65, has not bathed or cut his 3m-long dreadlocks since 1974, shortly after he married.

Explaining his unconventional decision, Kailash claimed a priest guaranteed him a much-prized son and heir if he followed the advice. Despite neighbours joking the sweaty farmer would be lucky to persuade his wife to have any children at all, his religious guidance clearly failed - he has seven daughters.

Kailash spends his days tending cows in 47C heat, yet the only 'cleansing' he does allow himself is a 'fire bath' each evening, which involves smoking marijuana, praying to the Hindu Lord Shiva and dancing around a bonfire. His long-suffering family admit they did once tried to force him into a stream.

"He fought us off and ran away," said wife Kalavati Devi, 60. "We've tried several times since to force him to have a shower but he puts up such a fuss."

"He says he'd rather die than take a bath and only a son could change his mind. It has been so many years now I've got used to it."

His wife even threatened to stop sleeping with him if he didn't bath, but she gave in first, insisting she should be loyal and put up with the stench.

The father-of-seven spends all day working up a sweat tending cows and working in his fields near the Indian holy city of Varanasi, on the banks of the River Ganges, where temperatures regularly top 47C.

He admits neighbours in the rural village of Chatav make fun of him but said he is following god's will.

"Children tease and shout that I don't wash when I ride my bicycle through the village," he said. "There are many people who have a poor character that mock me for not washing."

"They do not understand my decision but I will not change my mind as it is god's choice, not mine."My wife doesn't like it either but she must bear all the hardships I have to bear. Besides, I take a fire bath in the evenings and that gets rid of all the sweat."

Kailash's wife claims she has tried everything to make her smelly husband clean up his act without success.

"I abused him and started crying when he told me about his senseless decision," she said.

"I even threatened to stop sleeping with him but he is my husband so there was little I could do about it."

Youngest daughter Pooja, 16, even says her father's strange decision has made her more popular.

"My schoolmates are curious to see and meet my papa," she said. "They keep asking me how he can live for so many years without washing and want to see for themselves."

"Earlier I would be angry but there's nothing we can do as he doesn't listen to anyone."

The only contact with water Kailash has is to wash his mouth and hands.

"I have no son, so I will never wash again," he said. "Maybe when I am born again I will wash."

Maybe if he starts washing and cleaning himself again, he will finally get to bear a son. Respect for this guy for not washing himself for soooo loonggg..and can stand the hygiene..

Meat Made From Poop ~~

As we are already facing global food security crisis; Here's a solution to global food crisis, a Japanese Technology yet again :D

Mitsuyuki Ikeda, a researcher from the Okayama Laboratory has developed beef based on proteins from human excrement, reports the Huffington Post.

His idea was inspired when Tokyo sewage plant asked him to explore possible uses for the sewage and Ikeda found that the sewage contained a great deal of protein.

The final product is made up of protein (63 percent), carbohydrates (25 percent), minerals (9 percent) and lipds (3 percent).

The research team led by Ikeda colored the meat red with food coloring and enhanced the flavor with soy protein.

Ikeda hopes that the public will look beyond where the meat comes from and appreciates the meat’s positive side such as encouraging environmental responsibility.

WELL, this is also a solution to sewage treatment plant. It's all about nature, whatever goes around, comes around again, we have water cycle, nutrient cycle and for sure indirectly, food cycle in it.

Airbus Unveils Transparent Plane (woohoo!)

Transparent plane! Just like Star Trek!

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has presented a futuristic concept of air travel in which passengers will be able to gaze up at sunny or starry skies through a transparent cabin.

The concept fuselage for travellers in 2050 would be a bionic bone-like structure that will allow for panoramic views outside the aircraft. (2050?!!! that's quite long...I wonder if i'm still alive and kickin' at that time?)

It would provide strength where needed and allow an "intelligent" cabin wall membrane that can control air temperature besides becominge transparent to give passengers open, panoramic views.

Gone will bee the regulated class divisions of First, Business and Economy, replaced by personalised zones that offer flexible, tailored levels of relaxation, interactivity and working spaces. (This is cool! Personalized zone for everyone, I'm sure that we will need to pay for the personalized system services)

Passengers can choose to travel in the Interactive zone, with a bar and electronic games where they can mingle and socialise. And those wanting quiet and solitude can choose the Relaxation zone. (this is what I have been waiting for!)

You just gonna love it..don't you?

For nervous flyers wanting to cut themselves off from the window views, or those simply seeking privacy from other passengers, seats would become 'holographic pods' that would shut out the outside world. (How about claustrophobic person?)

Seats could also change in size and shape for the individual passenger.

Entertainment would move well beyond the seatback TV screen, with concepts for the Interactive zone including virtual holographic golf courses or virtual clothes shopping. (I'm not really into this though)

Although Airbus engineers are gazing 40 years into the future, some of these developments could be turned into reality and incorporated into plane designs so that passengers reap the benefit of air travel with minimal environmental impact. (Speed up the development, 40 years is a little tooo loonggg)

"Our research shows that passengers of 2050 will expect a seamless travel experience while also caring for the environment," Charles Champion, Airbus Executive Vice President Engineering, told London's Daily Telegraph.

"The Airbus Concept Cabin is designed with that in mind, and shows that the journey can be as much a voyage of discovery as the destination."

Topless Rooney in 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' poster

An action-packed trailer accompanied by some exciting score by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor.
Rising actress Rooney Mara, who plays the tortured computer hacker in David Fincher’s new film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, goes nude in the first poster of the film.

Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara are locked in an embrace in the
newly released poster of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Instead of showcasing the tattoo on the female protagonist’s back, the poster showed a nude Mara being embraced by co-star Daniel Craig.
Fincher directed the 26-year-old actress in his previous work The Social Network, in which she played Mark Zuckerberg’s girlfriend.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, a big-screen adaptation of Stieg Larssen’s hugely popular Swedish novel, is set to hit theatres on Dec 21.

Rats the Size of a Cat!

Imagine one day you found a rat this size?? WTF?!! the size of a cat? I would say it's the size of a dog..scary.

The Sun reported one baby was even found with its eyes gouged out.
Rats the sizes of cats are believed to have killed two babies in South Africa. Her mother discovered her child's body and said, "I can't forget how ugly my child looked after her eyes were ripped out.
"She was eaten from her eyebrows to her cheeks, her other eye was hanging by a piece of flesh." EWWWWW!!!
These giant rats grow up to three-foot including their tails - and have front teeth over an inch long.
The killer rodents are believed to be African Giant Pouched Rats - the biggest in the world.
They are nocturnal, omnivorous - eating both plants and animals - and can produce up to 50 young a year. WTH?? 50 youngs per year?????
A second baby girl died in the Soweto township when she was attacked by rats while her teenage mother was out with friends.
Police officer Bongani Mhlongo said:  "The mother of the child was arrested on charges of culpable homicide and negligence."
The deaths appear to be part of a spate of deadly rat attacks in the country.
Last month, 77-year-old grandmother Nomathemba Joyi died after giant rats chewed off the right side of her face. God Bless Her Soul.

Ric Elias: 3 things I learned while my plane crashed

Have anyone of you ever got into a near death experience? How's it like? What were you thinking when you got into 'that' at that time.? From this video at TED, Ric talked about what he should've done in his life, what he has regretted...given a 2nd chance into life, he chose to be a happier person, do what he should do, think more about your friends and family instead of being a selfish lot by focussing fully on money making. That's kinda crap isn't it when your friends and family are neglected. I have encountered such people as in selfish person with high egoistic attitude.

Well anyway, enjoy the video and May All Beings Be Well and Happy :D
